THE ROLE

Join our team as a Campground Attendant and be the heart of outdoor hospitality! From ensuring campers’ comfort to maintaining pristine grounds, your role will create memorable experiences amidst nature’s beauty.

As a Campground Attendant, you will provide guests with reservations, general information and assist with check-in and check-out. The Campground Attendant opens and closes the park office and ensures cleanliness of building and grounds. They provide cashier and sales services, monitor campground activities, assist with general groundwork and operate yard maintenance equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

An acceptable combination of education, training and experience

Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification

Valid Driver’s Licence (Ontario)

Experience

In cash handling

In operating yard maintenance equipment and utility vehicles

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential

OTHER INFORMATION

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg)

Available to work days, evenings and weekends

This unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

START DATE

An anticipated start date of 5 May 2025

This is a seasonal position with an anticipated term of May to October
