THE ROLEAre you passionate about fitness and wellness? Join us as the Fitness & Wellness Program Coordinator and play a pivotal role for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders from the CAF, Personnel Support Programs (PSP) departments, and external stakeholders to empower fitness and wellness teams nationwide. As a subject matter expert, you will help lead the charge in developing, implementing, and evaluating cutting-edge programs and services aimed at enhancing the operational readiness and health-related fitness of our CAF members. The ideal candidate excels in communication and is someone who can build bridges, inspire action, and drive results. With a positive mindset and a natural ability for relationship-building, you'll contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma in Exercise Sciences, or a related field, AND several years of experience in physical fitness program and evaluation administration
Current Certified Personal Trainer (CSEP-CPT) certification, an asset
Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP_CEP) OR equivalent certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), an asset
Current Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), an asset
Experience
In coordinating projects
In planning, coordinating and delivering physical fitness evaluations and programs
In coordinating and developing policies and procedures for physical fitness evaluations, programs, and training
In coordinating marketing and promotional materials for fitness programs and standards
In evaluating physical fitness
In coordinating and conducting workshops, presentations and clinic
In preparing reports and statistics
In applying policies, procedures, and regulations
In conducting physical fitness training sessions

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
