THE ROLEJoin our team as a Greens Supervisor where your keen attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will ensure our golf operation runs smoothly. You will maintain records such as inventory, maintenance procedures and the application of pesticide, fertilizer, and fungicide. Beyond Supervision of the day-to-day activities of maintenance, labour and grounds, you will also prepare employee work schedules, verify and enter hours into the applicable payroll program, as required as well as supervise and train employees. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Golf Course Maintenance, Agronomy, Horticulture or a related field AND some years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field
OR
High school diploma and several years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field
OR
A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience
AND
Valid Driver’s Licence (Province)
Valid Pesticide Applicator License (Province)
Experience
In golf course maintenance
In operating tools and equipment required for golf course maintenance
In personnel administration
In applying pesticides and fertilizers
In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
In budget administration
