THE ROLE

Reporting to: Senior Manager, IM/IT Products

Overview: The Senior Business Analyst will be part of digital product team supporting SISIP Financial's digital transformation. As an IM/IT Senior Business Analyst, you develop information management and information technology (IM/IT) solutions for SISIP Financial's client and advisor applications by documenting business objectives, user requirements, technical specifications and statements of work. You research and evaluate business and technical requirements, and participate in the development of technology roadmaps. You provide subject matter expertise on fintech and insurtech industry trends and standards

The IM/IT Senior Business Analyst prepares feasibility studies, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis, and provides recommendations on build-versus-buy options. You liaise with colleagues to develop system designs and project plans, functional specifications, technical specifications and testing plans. You review the usability of solutions prior to development and redesign business processes, if required.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field

Experience

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, upgrades and customization.

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service and Customer Engagement)

In finance and insurance industry technologies

In working on Microsoft Power Pages and Power Platform

In business process Analysis, system implementation and CRM solutions

In developing functional specifications, use cases and process flow diagrams.

In collaborating with diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to gather define and prioritize requirements.

In requirement and scope management - writing requirements in DevOps, developing acceptance criteria

in working closely with developers and technical teams to ensure proper configuration

In Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

In identifying gaps and opportunities for system enhancements.

In providing ongoing support and training to end users.

In scope and change management

In technical documentation

In creating technical presentations

In application integration and delivery challenges

Competencies

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English or French essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

This is a two-year term position.
