THE ROLE
PSP Military Housing was created in 1961 to provide housing for Junior Non-Commissioned Members posted to the National Capital Region. PSP Military Housing consists of 519 three-bedroom townhouses and 26 three-bedroom bungalows.
Under the supervision of the PSP Military Housing Superintendent, the Labourer will help support general labour work required in maintaining housing units. This will consist of both indoor and outdoor tasks, including grounds maintenance, painting, and other building and property maintenance tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
AND
A valid Driver’s License (Ontario)
Knowledge
Of general maintenance practices and techniques
Of grounds keeping practices and techniques
Of health and safety practices
Experience
In grounds maintenance
In usage of power and hand tools
In operation of equipment for landscaping and general maintenance
Competencies
