SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.
THE ROLEThe Licensed Financial Services Assistant will support advisors assigned to them by their manager. This includes, but is not limited to, proactively calling clients for appointments or providing support to prepare for appointments, following up on transfers and transactions, and completing all administration from beginning to end, following a client meeting.
You will liaise with clients, advisors and fund companies to facilitate trade requests. Each day you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and will be contributing to improving the quality of life for our CAF community.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field AND some years of experience in office administration, banking or a related field
Mutual Fund License
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC)
Experience
In providing administrative services in a financial planning, counselling and/or insurance environment
In office administration
In maintaining filing systems
In proofreading
In data entry, data manipulation, record-keeping and retrieval techniques
In drafting correspondence and reports

RESPONSIBILITIESSupport clients in implementing investment strategies to assist them in achieving their goals.
Assist in client discovery process through pre-meeting information gathering and subsequent delivery to advisor.
Organize marketing activities on behalf of advisory professionals.
Support business growth of assigned branches through outbound calls, prepare client/prospect call lists and track progress, as required.
Liaise with clients, advisors, and fund companies to facilitate trade requests.
Assist with the set-up of client files and ongoing maintenance of the accounts including proactively booking reviews and Know Your Client (KYC) updates.
Comply with regulatory, legal, security, confidentiality and ethical requirements ensuring proper protocols when processing requests.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location. The employee must be able to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.
Relocation benefits will not be provided.
