THE ROLEThe Pro Shop Supervisor plans, organizes and supervises the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, including purchasing, sales, membership sales, equipment rental, course usage, merchandising and staffing. Maintain database programs and systems such as the Management Software/Point Of Sale system. Hire, train, supervise, and determine the scheduling requirements for the Pro Shop, club storage, and driving range.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field, AND some years of experience in retail sales or a related field
OR
High school diploma AND several years of experience in finance and retail
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
Valid Driver’s Licence (Province), an asset

In preparing sales reports
In budget administration
In personnel administration
In maintaining databases and filing systems
