The Program Specialist will assist families with deployment and work related absences while residing in the NCR region, assess clients' situations to provide information, assistance, coaching, emotional support and/or referral, as well as act as a community service Subject Matter Expert (SME) for families with intricate needs, working in collaboration with the CAF, local community agencies and external partnership agencies to ensure families receive the required supports.
The Program Specialist will perform outreach/warm-line calls to CAF family members, as required, as well as support self-help group development through facilitation, presentations and/or information sharing, engaging clinical support, as required.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College Diploma in Social Services, Mental Health, Human Services, or a related field.
Several years of experience in direct community service delivery.

In establishing, sustaining and fostering a network of community contacts and partnerships
In preparing and implementing multi-media social marketing campaigns
In creating visual aids and marketing support material
