THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Facility Supervisor, the Recreation Centre Monitor monitors front desk reception and facility. They conduct checks of the facility during shift to ensure safety and take appropriate corrective action when problems are encountered.
The Recreation Centre Monitor patrols the facility to ensure rules and regulations are being followed and ensures access to the facility, equipment and services is by authorized clients only. They open and close the facility in accordance with security regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In phone systems and front desk reception
In working with youth
In cash handling
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential
