THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Military Sports Coordinator, the Sports Assistant provides customer service to Military Sports clientele. They assist in the planning, organizing and monitoring of intersection sports leagues, and prepare schedules for military intersection leagues and tournaments. They will assist in organizing Regional and National sports events and training camps. The Sports Assistant will monitor the usage and availability of sports equipment for all military sports programs. They will organize, conduct, and prepare minutes for military intersection league and sports meetings. The Sports Assistant will initiate and recommend updates to intersection league policies and directives, and will update, amend, and maintain data for the sports department.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in Sports Administration, or a related field
AND
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
In office administration
In administration of sports or sporting events
In participating in sports
In the preparation of reports
