THE ROLEUnder the direction of the Military Museums Operations Officer, the Visitor Experience Representative greets visitors, and respond to inquiries regarding membership and pass sales, provide customers with information about programs and services and facility schedules. He/she receives and processes payment for facility use, maintains floats and sales records. He/She provides administrative support to the museum staff, including but not limited to correspondence, membership, filing and maintaining database. He/She provides financial information to management such as Daily Sales Reports (DSR). The Visitor Experience Representative opens and closes the facility, and performs light housekeeping duties.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years of experience in a related field
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
Experience in cash handling, records management, preparing reports, monitoring facility usage
Knowledge of cash handling principles and procedures, loss prevention, point of sales systems, general office administration and clerical procedures
Competencies
