Description
Transload is the multi-commodity product transfer from one transportation vehicle to another including inventory, storage, if required.
Successful applicants will be hired as an Equipment Operator, Transload employee where they will be required to train and qualify on the duties of:
Manual daily labour associated with resizing/restacking lumber lifts for exportOperating lift trucks unloading from truck or rail to ground, loading export containersBlocking, bracing securing railcars for unloading/loadingInterpreting and completing paperwork associated with the loading/unloading of railcars and containersWorking Conditions:Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtimeAbility to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions and exposure to dust, pollen, noise and vibrationsFrequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, performing overhead work, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds (22 kg) and occasionally up to 70 pounds (32 kg)

This job is considered safety sensitive so you need to have a drug testHigh school diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED)Lift-truck operator certification (Class 4/5)Proficiency in the operation of lift-truck, up to 50,000 pounds capacityGood hand-eye coordinationCustomer service driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe work location:
