CWB Financial Group is seeking an accomplished and driven Senior AVP & Market Lead to lead our teams in Kelowna, Kamloops, and Prince George! The Senior AVP & Market Lead is at the helm of a high-performing team managing an impressive portfolio, including up to $1B in assets under management. With a focus on business development, people leadership, and operational excellence, you’ll lead all aspects of the strategic growth of the market while ensuring strong risk management practices!
What You’ll DoDrive Strategic GrowthDevelop and implement business strategies to achieve asset, deposit, and revenue growth targets.
Build a diversified portfolio of commercial and personal banking clients through proactive outreach.
Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, professionals, and local businesses to enhance the CWB brand.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, encouraging personalized client relationships.
Lead your team to consistently deliver knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient banking solutions.
Represent CWB at private and public functions to reinforce our dedication to community and client success.
Recruit, coach, mentor, and engage a team of high-performing professionals across BC's interior market.
Encourage collaboration by aligning branch goals with organizational strategy.
Empower your team through development opportunities, performance feedback, and clear career paths.
Uphold meticulous risk management and compliance standards, safeguarding the bank’s assets.
Monitor portfolio quality, manage loan reviews, and implement proactive problem-loan strategies.
Supervise branch administration to ensure seamless operations and audit readiness.
10-15 years of dynamic business banking experience, with a proven track record in leadership and coaching.
Deep expertise in business development, relationship management, and sales.
Extensive lending experience with a sound understanding of credit risk and regulatory compliance.
Strategic problem solver with a proven ability to translate vision into actionable business plans.
Leadership style that encourages an open and collaborative work environment, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at motivating teams and building client trust.
