Under the authority of the Packaging Director, the Packaging Manager will be responsible for the proper functioning of packaging activities.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the various departments to establish a packaging plan for the various products;
- Ensure proper execution, follow-up and problem solving for the packaging plan;
- Ensure that the use of equipment, labour and operational expenses are within established limits;
- Identify opportunities in terms of efficiency in terms of equipment, planning and personnel;
- Monitor and maintain efficiency and performance throughout the packaging process to ensure that deadlines are met and barriers are identified and removed;
- Oversee the development and performance management of all employees in the department and ensure that the functions, responsibilities, authority and responsibility of all are defined and understood;
- Participate in job interviews;
- Develop and maintain the highest standards of operations to ensure compliance with the company's established quality standards;
- Ensure the maintenance of a culture, within his/her functions, that is consistent and consistent with the company's values;
- Foster and stimulate high employee engagement, across all functions.
Qualifications :
- College education or equivalent experience;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a management function;
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel;
- Be autonomous, responsible, honest and open-minded;
- Strong time management skills and possess an excellent work ethic;
- Ability to deal with various problems simultaneously, good judgment;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Priority Management
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
