Cansel is a reseller of many Earth Observation satellite operators and constellations. As a Sales Representative, you will drive the sales of Earth Observation imagery and derived products in Canada and the USA. We are looking for someone with experience in selling Earth Observation imagery products into commercial and government accounts. Travel may be required. Sales training and onboarding will be provided.
• Actively hunt for new business opportunities by identifying the needs of new customers, following industry market trends, and discovering leads.
• Qualify opportunities using a standard sales process
• Perform sales presentations, demonstrations, and cold calling throughout your territory.
• Provide excellent customer service to your accounts
• Meet all sales target performance indicators
• Recommend and participate in trade shows, training events, or other related events as requested and required
• Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing
• Update and maintain your leads and opportunities in Salesforce
• Develop and document your understanding of the competition
• Be active on social media to advertise Cansel’s offerings
• Collaborate with Cansel’s marketing team to develop and run marketing campaigns
• Provide reports and updates to your manager on sales activities and pipeline
• Have experience in selling Earth Observation imagery products
• Are an energetic, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for selling in a competitive market
• Are experienced with recommending, presenting, and selling products based on customer needs
• Show initiative, self-motivation, leadership, flexibility, drive, and superb communication skills are essential
• Are a creative problem-solver and are business savvy
• Have a driving license in good standing
• Have experience with Salesforce or other CRM is an asset
• Have formal sales training is an asset
• Bilingual in French and English is a plus.
