Description
We are currently seeking a bilingual (French/English) Proposal Manager to support the creation of persuasive proposals that highlight the business value of Capgemini’s solutions to our clients. As part of Capgemini’s Strategic Bid Management organization, the role will focus on managing the end-to-end proposal development process in response to Quebec-based client solicitations such as RFPs, with a secondary focus on supporting bid managers in furnishing proposals for our other Canadian-based prospects and clients.
The position provides for work-from-home opportunity.
Functional Task:- Support the sales lead in completing opportunity qualification, and upon receiving a go-decision, conduct a deal kick-off with pursuit team members.
- Understand client requirements and work with the sales lead and pursuit team to define our competitive differentiation, a win strategy and corresponding client messaging.
- Plan and drive pursuit activities including solutioning, proposal development, preparing deal financials and coordinating deal governance (solution, financials and proposal reviews/approvals).
- Facilitate pursuit team meetings to enable collaboration on pursuit activities.
- Leverage Capgemini’s Industrialized Knowledge Warehouse to provide proposal content where possible, and create supplemental content as needed to assist other content/section owners in developing content.
- Conduct compliance and quality reviews, ensuring proposals are aligned with client requirements, are clearly written and highlight the business value we’re offering the client.
- Facilitate the necessary reviews and approvals required before proposal submission.
- Support client presentation preparations and best-and-final-offer (BAFO) proposal updates.
- Share insights from other proposals that pursuit teams can leverage to improve future proposals.

Required Skills:- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in proposal management within a technology consultancy services company.
- Knowledge and understanding of outsourcing, system integration, strategy & consulting, data & AI, cloud, security, sustainability & intelligent products/solutions and current technology trends.
- High collaborative, strong team orientation well-suited to getting the most out of pursuit teams. Experienced working with geographically diverse team members within a global organization working in different time zones.
- Ability to self-manage concurrent assignments in a fast-paced business environment; ability to anticipate challenges and think quickly to support sales pursuits.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel applications.
