This individual will establish relationships with account teams to drive business growth. As a Managing Data Architect, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms and seamless data integration solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data architecture, and integration patterns to drive innovation and efficiency in delivering scalable and integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Account teams to identify, develop, and present modern cloud solutions that meet client needs.
- Provide technical mentorship and support throughout the sales process.
- Identify business and technical requirements of customers and translate them into effective solutions.
- Design and implement cloud-based data platforms and seamless data integration solutions.
- Develop and present customized demonstrations and proof-of-concepts showcasing the capabilities of Modern Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Respond to technical inquiries, conduct technical assessments, and develop technical proposals.
- Mentor and lead technical data teams in client engagements, ensuring technical work meets industry-proven quality standards.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, data architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience in designing and architecting cloud-native data platforms.
- Knowledge of integration strategies and designing APIs.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in data modernization strategies and cloud migration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Designing and architecting cloud-native data platforms.
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, cost-effective, and optimized for cloud performance
- Collaborating with development teams on suitable programming languages, frameworks, and containerization strategies.
- Designing and implementing solutions with Microsoft Fabric.
- Developing integration strategies for cloud applications.
- Designing and implementing APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).
- Utilizing middleware and integration platforms for efficient data flow.
- Designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Defining best practices for microservices development, deployment, and management.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
- Ensuring efficient automation of deployment processes, monitoring, and logging.
- Building and delivering data modernization strategies.
- Developing migration plans for legacy data warehouses and ETL processes.
- Designing robust data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience, with significant experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record as a Cloud Data Architect.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with legacy systems (e.g., SQL Server, SSIS, Greenplum).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure; AWS and Google Cloud are desirable.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in technical presales.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and MDM strategies.
- Experience working with customers to build and implement strategic plans for Cloud solutions.
- Participation in industry events and conferences.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Fabric Data Engineer Associate
- Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Microservices-related certifications (e.g., CKAD).
