Description
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Technical Program Manager to lead engagements and enable our clients through cloud adoption, migration, and modernization programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering cloud adoption strategies and cloud solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise in cloud applications and infrastructure domains, with excellent communication and consulting skills to manage client relationships and lead such transformations
Key Responsibilities:Cloud Adoption & Strategy Development:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and deliver cloud adoption strategies.
- Lead cloud adoption efforts, ensuring that clients successfully move to cloud environments, including public, private, or hybrid solutions.
- Work with clients to define cloud adoption roadmaps, business cases, and transformation strategies.
- Collaborate with client teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud foundations.
Cloud Migration & Modernization:
- Lead and advise on cloud migration strategies and execution, guiding clients through application, data, and infrastructure migrations.
- Define and implement cloud modernization solutions, helping clients optimize and refactor legacy applications to take full advantage of cloud capabilities.
- Ensure that cloud migration and modernization efforts align with best practices and cloud service provider guidelines (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, ensuring that cloud solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and security.
- Act as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, keeping abreast of industry trends and innovations.
- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge repositories, best practices, and reusable assets.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and other teams to ensure alignment on business goals and technical requirements.
- Deliver regular progress reports and executive-level presentations to ensure that stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and milestones.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, taking proactive steps to address them before they become blockers.
- 12+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a cloud architecture or solution design role.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, including consulting, delivering cloud adoption, migration, and modernization programs.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex cloud transformation projects from conception to completion.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep expertise in cloud technologies, platforms, and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Experience in designing cloud architectures for enterprise-level clients, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Expertise in cloud migration tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance, and governance.
Consulting & Communication Skills:
- Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and influence client decision-making processes at executive and technical levels.
Certifications:
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect)
