Our tight knit faith-based school community enrolls approximately 120 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 taught by our vibrant staff. JOB DESCRIPTION

Assumption School is seeking an After School Care Manager (2 hours/day - Tuesday to Thursday) for the 2024-2025 school year.

Join our team at Assumption as an After School Care Manager, where you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students outside of regular school hours. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about child development and creating positive experiences for elementary-aged children.

**Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and engage students in recreational activities.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.

- Assist with snack distribution and monitor students during snack time.

- Implement and facilitate age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.

- Maintain a clean and organized after school care environment.

**Qualifications:**

- Current Responsible Adult certificate or ECA A certificate.

- Experience working with elementary-aged children.

- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other staff members as well as have experience working with a diverse range of learners and have a passion for teaching. While all applications will be reviewed, only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
