JOB DESCRIPTION

ELEMENTARY (PRIMARY) SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

Terms:

Part Time: 0.5 FTE

1 year (with possibility for renewal)

Specific Duties & Skills:

Support student learning either one on one or in small groups.

Work cooperatively with colleagues within his/her department and across the school.

Participate fully in student-learning and extracurricular activities outside of the school day.

Strong working understanding of differentiated instruction as it applies to teaching in an all boys school.

Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning empowered by technology.

History of working with students with diabetes or willingness to be trained.

Extra-Curricular:

Demonstrated commitment to extracurricular and co-curricular endeavors is a requirement

Priority Consideration will be given to candidates who possess the following:

Current pastoral reference confirming that he/she is a practicing Roman Catholic

Salary Range: $21,000-$23,500 for 0.5 FTE
