JOB DESCRIPTION

St Francis de Sales Catholic elementary school is seeking a part-time vice principal and part-time teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full-time role. Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith, demonstrate competency with the BC curriculum including interactive technology, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere in collaboration with our dedicated education assistants, office staff, pastor and Parish Education Committee. Completion of, or enrolment in, a Master’s degree program is an asset, as is the goal of ultimately becoming a full time school principal in the CISVA.

At our school, we prioritize fostering a collaborative environment where educators work closely together to instill our core values as we develop and deliver engaging curriculum. The successful candidate would be responsible for teaching three days/week, subject areas to be determined, as well as help oversee extra-curricular programs and take part in activities that would hopefully align with your interests. Basketball, soccer and/or track and field coaching would be an asset.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia.
