ROLE SUMMARY : The Heritage College Nursing Program provides a full-time, three-year RN competency-based diploma program. Given that nursing is a practice-based profession, we believe that clinical experience is a vital and integral component of the curriculum, providing students with hands-on opportunities to practice their nursing skills under direct supervision of their clinical instructor. The clinical instructor supports student learning, liaises with assigned nurses in a clinical unit and collaborates with the Faculty Team Leader. The clinical instructor role is an essential and powerful component of nursing education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and several years of teaching experience at the university or college level is preferred.
- Fluency in English and French, both oral and written is required.
- Knowledge of software as per program requirements is necessary.
- Must be a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Must hold an OIIQ (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec) license for all Quebec placements.
