About this opportunity:

Cenovus is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer, Procurement Services to join our team, reporting to the SCM Manager, CAN Downstream. The successful candidate will support our Operations, Maintenance, and Turnaround teams with day-to-day stock replenishment. This role involves sourcing materials, managing procurement processes, resolving requisition and order issues, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Additionally, the Buyer will handle the lifecycle of repairable materials and collaborate with business units and vendors to meet their needs. A Supply Chain Management certification, experience in SAP MM (Materials Management), and knowledge of the Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle are valuable assets for this position.

Work Environment:

• This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area

• This is a full-time employee position working a Monday to Friday schedule

What you’ll do:

• Source MRP material requirements and issue/maintain RFQs

• Resolve Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order issues

• Manage the repairable material lifecycle

• Expedite the delivery of materials

• Support business unit and vendor requirements

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Post Secondary Certificate/Diploma

• Minimum of 2 years Supply Chain experience
