• Collaborate with the trading desk and Senior Market Analysts on the team to develop risk/reward analysis of trading optimization opportunities

• Assist in generating ad-hoc analyses requested by trading/various business units to support various commercial strategies

• Be accountable for the accuracy of model actualizations, modeling supply

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Post-Secondary degree in a numeric field (Statistics, Finance, Economics/Econometrics, Computer Science, Data Science)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field

• Strong quantitative and analytical capacity with operational knowledge and willingness to learn new analytical tools

• Experience in Oil/NGL Fundamentals within energy trading/producer/refiner environment

• Can communicate and engage effectively with a team of trading professionals with minimal support and coaching

• Knowledge of Python, Microsoft Office Products required, familiarity with R and Databricks an asset
