We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Clinical Informatics Nurse. The Clinical Informatics Nurse (CIN) educates and supports physicians and interprofessional clinical staff in the adoption of CAMH’s electronic health record (I-CARE) and other IMG-supported clinical applications. Acting as a key liaison between IMG and CAMH interprofessional clinical staff, the CIN also collaborates with both internal (e.g. Professional Practice, EPMO) and external stakeholders (e.g. vendors, TAHSN hospitals) to support other relevant initiatives at CAMH.
Reporting to the Chief Clinical Informatics Officer, the Clinical Informatics Nurse is responsible for developing and maintaining education materials, delivering training and providing ongoing support for I-CARE and other IMG-supported clinical applications. Through participation on committees, working groups and project teams, the CIN collaborates with others to support projects, process improvement, and mandated initiatives, focusing on system optimization, uptake of best practices, and adoption of I CARE and IMG-supported clinical applications.
