Business Systems Analyst (GoLang)

Position Description:

We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join Canada's largest IT Company as a "Business Systems Analyst (GoLang)".

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in Toronto Downtown office 2 - 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze and map current business processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and propose solutions using Golang to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
• Create detailed technical specifications and documentation.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Provide training and support to end-users during and after the migration process.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration project.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and experience in system migrations.
• Solid understanding of banking systems, processes, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and architectures.
• Knowledge of API integrations and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of data migration strategies and tools.
