Position Description:

The Hybris Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of e-commerce systems. This role also provides technical support and guidance to junior programmers, actively participating in testing, implementing requirements, and automating processes related to e-commerce systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Align the development team with application architecture.
- Develop code following complex functional and technical designs, minimizing defects.
- Define non-functional requirements (performance, monitoring, availability, portability, reusability, etc.).
- Assess technical impacts from the outset of projects and recommend optimal solutions to facilitate development.
- Produce technical design solutions that meet budget and timeline constraints.
- Review technical designs from other developers and recommend optimizations.
- Participate in performance and penetration testing, resolving issues as necessary.
- Provide third-level support.
- Identify root causes of problems and offer solution options with recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with current standards, architectures, and other guidelines, maintaining system consistency.
- Automate and optimize operations related to development, deployment, and monitoring.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Reside in the province of Quebec.
- Be authorized to work in Canada.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Hybris / SAP Commerce.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in development.
- Possess strong expertise in Java (Java 8 & 11, Spring Framework, Back-end).
- Be knowledgeable about REST services.
- Be familiar with DevOps tools and principles.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, communication abilities, and autonomy.
- Be comfortable communicating orally in either French OR English.
- Have knowledge of the Scrum methodology.
