Position Description:

Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support & enhance Applications. Developer will be primarily responsible for support & maintenance of Oracle Stored Procedures and Business Processes. The ability to be proactive, and work autonomously/team player is essential for this role. The developer must be able to work effectively with various members of the organization to resolve Technical & Business issues as well as follow through each process from testing to production. The developer is a valuable member of the team who brings forward issues and ideas for improvements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work in Application Management & Support (AMS) Team
• 24X7 Production Support /On Call Rotation of Pagers
• Have the ability to work as part of a larger team as well as independently.
• Have the ability to troubleshoot and work through complex technical issues.
• Participate in and perform code reviews
• Model, design and maintain data warehouse including table structures, stored procedures, views and functions
• Identify and assist in the coordination of ongoing maintenance tasks, i.e., application and database server upgrades.
• Work as a project team member in the role of operational acceptance lead ensuring that projects delivered
• Document Incident Resolution
• Document Test Results/Changes for Change Requests

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Experience
Must Have:
• Advanced level in Oracle PL/SQL development, including writing complex stored procedures, packages, and triggers (Oracle 19C and above).
• Oracle SQL Developer
• Experience with XML and Unix Scripting;
• Strong knowledge of Linux, including experience with shell scripting to automate and support backend processes.
• Experience working with job scheduling systems to monitor, trace, and troubleshoot jobs.
• Experience with tracing and troubleshooting, including the ability to trace through the Oracle database, identify issues, and resolve them.
• Working knowledge of Source Controls like Git, SVN
• Experience with ServiceNow to manage Incidents & Change requests
