Technical Data Steward

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for Promoting Data Governance Standards.

o Promoting Data Governance Standards: Advocate and socialize global data governance standards and the global data model across teams.
o Consumer Support: Understand the data asset architecture and guide consumers on locating and accessing high-quality data.
o Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with business stakeholders and master data management specialists to define data management and consolidation rules.
o ETL Expertise: Map data flows to and from the asset, acting as an expert in Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) processes across diverse data sources and consumers.
o Data Access and Auditing: Provision access to global datasets within the asset and perform periodic audits to refine permissions based on evolving business requirements.

o Experience in Data Governance.
o Strong understanding of data asset architecture.
o Expertise in using ETL tools
o Programming and Querying skills: SQL (Expert) and Python (Intermediate)
o Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (Hybrid - 2 days required in office per week; Alternate Locations: Moncton or Fredericton, NB, Stratford, PE, or St. John's, NL)
