Job Summary

As a Human Resources Representative for our Human Resources team at the Laval location, you will be to establishing close partnerships with internal clients on human resources management activities. You will also be leading communication and engagement activities and strategies for the site.


In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Build relationship with people leaders to understand the business context of their department. Assess, analyze, and advise internal clients as to best practices and solutions in alignment with organizational goals and priorities;
  • Support and coach managers in the management and development of their employees as well as in the application of policies and procedures by ensuring consistent and equitable application of programs and policies and by participating in internal investigations, corrective actions, and mediation to resolve situational issue;
  • Participate in the HR cycle activities with internal clients such as objectives setting, performance review, compensation planning, succession planning, etc;
  • Coordinate the planning of all engagement site’s initiatives such as social committee, employee group resources, local involvement including budget management;
  • Coordinate key messages, prepare communications and visual needed in collaboration with the communication regional team;
  • Organize meeting between senior leadership and employees from different department to discuss engagement survey results and idea of actions to improve their work environment;
  • Advise on the engagement survey best practices to increase participation rate, achievable action plan and track progress.
Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations management;
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist or in a similar role;
  • Fluently bilingual, oral and written (French and English);
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence through strong interpersonal skills and effective collaboration.

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: Laval: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3
  • Transportation: Laval: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hybrid (Minimum 3 days on site)
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
