Behaviour Coach (1.0 FTE Continuing)

The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) continuing Behaviour Coach to provide division support for student behaviour beginning August 26, 2025.

Qualifications:
- Ability to work with youth with learning or behavioral challenges as well as social emotional issues
- Special education teacher qualifications would be an asset
- Willingness to attend professional development training and the ability (or demonstrated experience) to support professional development for staff
- Knowledge of restitution and/or control theory
- Proven ability to self-evaluate for personal growth
- Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom
- A willingness to be part of a collaborative educational team
- Professional learning community knowledge and background
- Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, families, professionals and community service agencies
- Willingness to travel within the division
- Preference will be given for a certified teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified
- Or a degree in social work or equivalent may be considered, if the applicant is not a certified teacher
