The Chinook School Division is seeking a Student Services Coordinator beginning August 26, 2025. The Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for the leadership, management and service delivery model for an assigned cluster of schools within the Chinook School Division.

Duties:

  • Managing and coordinating within their cluster and caseload assignments inclusive of the coordination and management for Speech and Language Pathologists, Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapist and/or Counseling Services;
  • Ensuring that the service delivery model for Chinook Student Services is understood and implemented;
  • Completing assessment and evaluation of student testing batteries at the school level as required as well as related supports for program development;
  • Building effective and skillful teams in schools to compliment the Service Delivery priorities for Student Support Services in Education;
  • Provide direction and support to schools on topics related to student behaviour, differentiated instruction, mental health and instructional planning;
  • Contributing to the development, training, hiring and allocations of Educational Assistant services, and coordinating and completing related data and reporting in the Student Services areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience as a classroom teacher in Saskatchewan;
  • Experience in school-based administration is an asset;
  • Experience and training as a Student Services Teacher; with preference for a teacher with an Inclusive Education Certificate or equivalent or interest in obtaining such qualifications;
  • Facilitator training in Mental Health First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Traumatic Events Systems, Violent Treat Risk Assessment is an asset;
  • Demonstrated experience and/or training in coordination of and delivery of professional development;
  • Effective interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills;
  • Proven ability to lead the development and implementation of a school division plan for Student Services;
  • Comfort and ability to work with technology, data and assessment;
  • Interest and ability in working with teachers, leading the development of instructional plans to enhance learning opportunities through varied instructional strategies, the adaptive dimension, the differentiation of instruction, course modifications and adaptations;
  • Ability to advocate for the needs of students, while strengthening and valuing family, community and inclusive school environments.
  • Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
