The private seniors' residence Les Marronniers, located in Lévis, is looking for a person to fill the position of assistant health services manager. The assistant health services manager contributes to the planning and monitoring of activities related to the care and well-being of residents. He/she ensures compliance with the standards of the profession as well as the regulations for the certification of private seniors' residences relating to his/her sector.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The position includes telephone guards during the week and weekends, alternating with another person. (Telephone guard 7 days a week)

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate in the process of hiring, integrating and evaluating new staff
- Ensure monitoring of the clinical file as well as prescriptions at the request of the doctor or pharmacist
- Ensure that the care services provided to our residents meet the qualitative and professional standards recognized in RPAs
- Ensure the maintenance of resident files via the SYMO platform and compliance with the work plans of the care teams
- In the absence of the health services manager, take charge of communication and ensure that the bond of trust is maintained with residents, their families and loved ones.
- Participate in professional training and development programs to stay up to date on the various advances in the field of RPA
- Participate in the assessment of care service needs, conduct audits and validate the relevance and accuracy of services provided based on residents’ needs
- Plan human resources and ensure timely replacement of care staff as needed
- Providing health and wellness care for the purpose of maintaining health, restoring health and preventing disease
- Refer to computerized care methods so that best practices are adopted
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care for our residents
- Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- Experience in personnel management (an asset)
