We have a dedicated and caring team for autonomous seniors and those with a slight loss of autonomy. We are looking for someone to fill a part-time auxiliary nurse evening position. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 1 weekend out of 2 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. or 4 p.m. to midnight (flexible start time)
** possibility of doing an extra shift per week**
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Ensure good communication as well as medical follow-ups with the vested parties
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Flexibility for the work schedule
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ
- Knowledge of Symo software (An asset)
