POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Havre des Cantons residence offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent elderly people with a slight loss of autonomy.
Schedule: a permanent full-time night position with every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Formation of PDSB
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- Law 90 training (an asset)
