POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Villa de l'Estrie residence located in Sherbrooke is looking for an empathetic Beneficiary Attendant who cares about the well-being of residents.
Part-time evening schedule, permanent position with one weekend out of two. 15 to 20 hours per week.
The person must hold a diploma recognized by a government body, 16-hour CPR and the PDSB of ASSTSAS.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- PAB diploma issued by a government body
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- PDSB training
