POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Managed by Cogir Immobilier, the mission of the Manoir Boisé-Gagnon residence is to offer seniors a life support system in a safe and warm environment, where our wonderful team makes all the difference for our residents. Located in the Bois-des-Filion district, the residence is warm and is happy to welcome semi-autonomous residents.
Permanent part-time position (between 08 and 16 per week) for weekends only, evenings from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Evening premium applicable.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Law 90 training
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- PDSB training
