POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Les Jardins Vaudreuil residence is happy to welcome autonomous and semi-autonomous residents, and offers them access to several services, if necessary. Located in a sector of Vaudreuil known for its many green spaces such as Valois Park and close to all services, the Les Jardins Vaudreuil residence offers all the advantages of suburban life.
We are currently looking for an empathetic and concerned Beneficiary Attendant for the well-being of residents
The Resident Attendant ensures the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care.
TEMPORARY position (indefinite sick leave replacement) full-time, between 24 and 32 hours per week, evenings from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Good team player
- Good sense of interpersonal communication
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience
- Law 90 training
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- PDSB training
