The private seniors' residence La Roseraie, located in Ste-Foy, is looking for three people to fill part-time daytime beneficiary attendant positions. ***Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16H up to date + PDSP completed.*** We offer group insurance, telemedicine, employee assistance program and more.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule A: a 4/14 day shift 1 weekend out of 2 + Friday
Schedule B: a 2/14 shift 1 weekend out of 2 + shift to be filled randomly
Schedule C: a 5/14 day shift 1 weekend out of 2 + Friday + 1 Thursday out of 2
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- DEP Assistance to people in establishments and at home
