Located in Lévis, the Les Marronniers residence offers a friendly, stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those with mild loss of autonomy. We are currently seeking a part-time evening beneficiary attendant position. ***Candidates must have an AP/RPA or DEP (vocational diploma) in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC certificate, or 5,000 hours of experience in the last 5 years as a PAB (Personal Assistance Provider) + up-to-date 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP.***


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: One 5/14 evening position


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
  • Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
  • Law 90 training (an asset)
  • AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
  • PDSP training
