POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our welcoming Jardins Laviolette residence is looking for a Dining Room Manager who will take care of hiring, training, schedules and all other related tasks.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, variable schedule between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with one weekend out of 2

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort
- Handle hiring, training and scheduling
- Perform other related duties
- See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts
- Supervision of our 2 dining rooms
- Take orders, note specific requests from residents and follow up in the kitchen
- Welcome customers and ensure the integration of new residents by offering them an adequate table
- knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration
