The private residence for seniors Le St-Augustin is looking for a person to fill a part-time evening beneficiary attendant position. Evening premium of $1. ***Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16H up to date + PDSB completed.***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: one position 2/14 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with one weekend out of 2
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Answering call bells
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
