POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The welcoming La Villa Saguenay residence is currently looking for a kitchen assistant to join our dynamic team! Your contribution will allow us to offer a safe environment and quality of life to residents. Come make a difference in the lives of our seniors and join us!
Part-time position, 32 hours per week, schedule from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wash dishes after each meal and store them in appropriate places
- Assemble plates of food
- Be required to participate in the serving of meals and/or light housework when required
- Clean kitchen equipment
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Perform other related duties
- Good team player
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
