POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Warm retirement home located in Montreal is currently looking for a maintenance attendant to fill a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
