We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Attendant for a permanent, part-time position, working 24 hours a week with the possibility of full-time work, 3 days a week: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and one day on weekends.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the maintenance manager when needed.
- All other related tasks
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
