POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an administrative assistant full-time permanent medical doctor to support the care team at the residence. As an administrative assistant in residence, you will have an undeniable intermediary role to play between the resident, the doctor and the nursing staff.

Schedule: Full time, daytime.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • All other related administrative tasks
  • Answer the phone and follow up with residents
  • Greet patients and ensure the smooth running of medical visits
  • Inventory management of office supplies
  • Make and coordinate medical appointments (Hopem an asset)
  • Manage priorities and have good judgment and a good sense of organization
  • Manage the doctors' schedule
  • Management of resident files: Creation of new medical files, continuous updating of information in resident files, classification and archiving….
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to doctors: photocopies, digitization of documents, fax, post, drafting of memos, etc.
Health Care
  • Collaborate in the follow-up of the medical dossiers, occasionaly arrange appointments and prescriptions for the residents
  • Delivering messages to the nursing staff
  • Ensure good communication as well as medical follow-ups with the vested parties
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DEP / ASP in medical secretary and / or experience in the medical field
  • 1 year of relevant experience in the health network will be considered an important asset
  • IT tool (Outlook, hopem)
