Description
The private residence for seniors, Le Domain Lafontaine, is looking for someone to fill a part-time day/evening beneficiary attendant (PAB) position. ***Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years as a PAB + up-to-date 16-hour RCR + completed PDSP.***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: between 24 and 32 hours/week, day-evening with one weekend out of 2
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Answering call bells
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
