Description
The private seniors' residence La Roseraie, located in Ste-Foy, is seeking a person to fill a part-time daytime position as a patient attendant. ***Candidates must have the AP/RPA training or a DEP in patient attendance or RAC certification, or 5,000 hours of training accumulated over the last 5 years as a PAB + up-to-date 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP.***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: One 4/14 daytime position
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- DEP Assistance to people in establishments and at home
- Law 90
- PDSP
- Experience with Agendrix and Symo (an asset)
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
