POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located on Boul. Gouin facing the Rivière Des Prairies, the Gouin-Langelier Complex welcomes autonomous customers or those losing their autonomy. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel at home.
We are currently looking for a maintenance worker to fill a temporary position (for the summer) full time, 40 hours per week, evenings and every other weekend. Working days: 1st week Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and the following week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- Good communication
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
