POSITION DESCRIPTION:
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct, supervise and mobilize the work of the care staff under his management
- Perform all other tasks related to his duties
- Plan human resources and ensure the timely replacement of care staff as needed
- To provide health and wellness care with the goal of maintaining and restoring health and preventing disease
- Ensure that partner files are compliant with coporate standards
- Create and maintain the necessary protocols for prevention and for the provisioning of appropriate care to the residents
- Carry out clinical assessments of residents and update treatment plans according to their specific needs
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Ensure good communication as well as medical follow-ups with the vested parties
- Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
- Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
- Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ or the or OIIQ
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing with a minimum of 1 year in administration
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- Nursing Management Experience
- Experience in personnel management
- Experience in human resources management, an asset
- Ease in the use of computer tools
